The Anaheim Ducks hit the ice today for practice after their disappointing loss to Los Angeles last night. The Ducks gave up three goals in the second period digging themselves a 3-0 after two periods. In the third, the Ducks rallied but still came up short losing 3-2. Full recap: Ducks Fall Short of Tying Kings

Last night Clayton Stoner did not play as he is dealing with a lower-body injury. He was not at practice today and is still be evaluated according to head coach Randy Carlyle. Shea Theodore was recalled over the weekend but did not play last night. Carlyle is considering playing Theodore, especially because of the lackluster power play. The Ducks had seven power plays last night, but could only score once. Anaheim also went short-handed three times and gave up two power play goals. Anaheim has been better on special teams than Los Angeles, but given the way the game went last night you would have thought it was the other way around.

Ryan Kesler was also not present at practice, taking a maintenance day. Joseph Cramarossa is dealing with a lower-body injury and it’s not clear if he will play on Tuesday. Ondrej Kase was recalled and played last night as a result.

The Ducks are back in action tomorrow night at home against the New York Islanders at 7PM PT.
