Gulls Sign Jeff Schultz To A One-Year Deal

The San Diego Gulls announced today that they signed defenseman Jeff Schultz to a one year contract.
Schultz recorded 15 total points(0 G + 15 A) with 18 penalty minutes (PIM) and a +6 rating in 65 games with San Diego last season. He also recorded one assist with two penalty minutes in the Calder Cup Playoffs with the Gulls. Schultz has recorded 74 total points(10 G + 64 A) with a +71 rating and 143 PIM in 295 career AHL games. He was also part of the Calder Cup Championship Machester Monarchs in 2015 and the Hershey Bears in 2006.
In the NHL, he has recorded 76 total points(11 G + 65 A) with a +78 rating and 137 PIM in 409 career games with Washington (2006-13) and Los Angeles (2013-16). He played in the playoffs six times and won the Stanley Cup with the Los Angeles Kings in 2014.
