Henrique Pays Early Dividends
By Michael Walters
It’s only been two games, but Adam Henrique has scored a point in each of those games. He was thrust into the top line center role with Ryan Getzlaf and Ryan Kesler still out. Henrique recorded two assists, as his initial goal against Nashville was changed to an assist.
On this show we talk about the trade and share our thoughts even though it’s only been a few games. We discuss player injuries and what the lineup could look like in a few weeks when Getzlaf and Kesler return.
Practice Report
Today the Ducks hit the ice before they take on the Vegas Golden Knights to finish out the road trip. Rickard Rakell was finally back at practice with the team. As a result, Anaheim reassigned Kalle Kossila to the San Diego Gulls. It sounds like Rakell has a good chance to play against Vegas. He skated with Adam Henrique and Corey Perry today. Jakob Silfverberg was also back on the ice skating today and might play tomorrow. Hampus Lindholm did not skate today and he has an “upper body issue” per Randy Carlyle.
