Game 71: Ducks Look To Get On Track Against Canucks

By Michael Walters

The Anaheim Ducks(34-24-12) square off against the Vancouver Canucks(25-36-9). The game starts at 7:00 PM PT and will be on Prime Ticket locally and AM 830.

Anaheim Outlook:

The Ducks have dropped three games in a row and are currently out of the playoff picture. Anaheim is going to have to win a majority of their final 12 games to have a chance to make the playoffs.  Rickard Rakell leads the team with 30 goals. Ondrej Kase has 17 and Adam Henrique has 16 goals with Anaheim(20 total on the season).

Keys To The Game

The Ducks need to work on scoring more as the second and third lines have gone cold as of late. Anaheim has also struggled on the power play too. The Ducks are starting to run out of time and need to play complete games if they want to see the postseason.

Vancouver Outlook:

The Canucks are well out of the playoff picture with just 59 points. They have gone 2-6-2 in their last 10 games. Brock Boeser leads the team with 29 goals and Daniel Sedin has 21 goals.

Keys To The Game

Not much has been going right for Vancouver this season. They were shutout in their last two contests against Arizona and Los Angeles. They need to get a goal in this contest to get some motivation on their side. With only 12 games to go this season, they can only play the role of spoiler in their remaining contests.
