Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks took down the Sharks in their season opener 5-2. Maxime Comtois scored his first NHL goal on his first shot to give the Ducks an early 1-0 lead. The teams would be tied after two periods, but the Ducks were able to pull away in the third period with three straight goals. Anaheim does need to do a better job of sustaining a forecheck and generating more shots in tonight’s contest.
Ryan Kesler did skate yesterday but is not projected to play tonight. Patrick Eaves did not skate yesterday. Other players that remain on the injured reserve include Max Jones(hand), Ondrej Kase(concussion), Kalle Kossila(hip), and Kevin Roy(Upper Body). Additionally, Corey Perry(knee) and Korbinian Holzer(wrist) have both been placed on the long-term injured reserve list.

Arizona Outlook
The Coyotes dropped their first game 3-0 to the Dallas Stars. Arizona was able to get 30 shots on goal, but Ben Bishop stood tall in net stopping everything that was thrown at him. Overall the Coyotes played a decent game, but the beginning of the second period was their downfall. They gave up three goals in a row in one minute and 36 seconds of play. Tonight they will look to continue to get shots on goal and try to get their first goal of the season.
