Ritchie To Sign Soon, Getzlaf Closer To Returning

Nick Ritchie is anticipated to a sign a contract with the Ducks soon according to TSN’s Bob McKenzie. The deal is reportedly going to be a three-year deal and could be done with the next week. Ritchie played in 76 games last season recording 27 total points(10 G + 17 A).
The Anaheim Ducks hit the ice for practice today and had a scare when John Gibson went down. He went straight to the locker room, but then returned a few minutes later. It appeared that he took a hard shot to his right arm/hand. He did complete practice and seemed to be fine according to multiple reports.
Ryan Getzlaf was present today at practice. He skated with Rickard Rakell and Troy Terry according to Eric Stephens of the Athletic. He appears close to returning as he was a full participant today.
Injury Updates
Ondrej Kase(head), Carter Rowney(upper body injury), and Jakob Silfverberg(upper body injury) skated on their own, but not with the team.
Patrick Eaves skated with the fourth line group of forwards.

Joseph Blandisi and Chase De Leo were recalled from San Diego.
