Heartbreak Center
By Michael Walters
After having lost four games in a row, the Ducks returned home to Anaheim for three games this past week. In each contest, the Ducks would get behind and a flash of the comeback kids from the past emerged. The Ducks rallied in each game tying up the score in the third period, but ultimately they would still lose all three games. Anaheim lost one game in regulation, another in overtime, and the other in a shootout. The Honda Center became the Heartbreak Center as the Ducks losing streak extended to seven games.
On this show, we have a spirited conversation about what is going wrong in Anaheim and whether or not Head Coach Randy Carlyle should be fired. We take an in-depth look at some of the numbers that could shine some light on the Ducks issues. Lastly, we discuss some league topics such as gambling and the Slava Voynov situation.
