The Ducks Don’t Deserve Gibson
By Michael Walters
This past week the Anaheim Ducks played four games winning two and losing two. The good news is the Ducks ended their seven-game losing streak. The bad news is they lost to their cross-town rivals and then finished the week with a lackluster effort against Minnesota. John Gibson had enough in the game against the Wild as he put Eric Fehr in a headlock and ripped his helmet off.
On this show, we have a discussion about Gibson’s frustration and how the team has been leaning on him too much. We talk about the issues with Randy Carlyle, but also with Bob Murray. The question is will the team be able to right the ship before it’s too late. Lastly, we cover some league news as well as the tragic events that happened in Southern California this past week.
This episode is dedicated to the victims of the Thousand Oaks shooting and the Ventura Fires. If you would like to help, then please visit: Ventura County Community Foundation
