The Ducks played last Friday in a 5-1 losing effort against Minnesota. The Ducks got down early in the game and couldn’t recover. Nick Ritchie did return to the lineup but didn’t have much of an impact.

Max Comtois was sent to San Diego on a conditioning loan. Kalle Kossila was recalled and Isac Lundestrom was reassigned to San Diego. Ondrej Kase could be in tonight according to Eric Stephens of the Athletic. He has been removed from the IR.

Jakob Silfverberg and Pontus Aberg lead the team with five goals. Ryan Kesler, and Adam Henrique have four goals each. Rickard Rakell(3 G + 9 A) leads the team with 12 total points.

Nashville Outlook

The Predators are riding a five-game winning streak and hold the best record in the league(13-3-0). Nashville is 8-0-0 on the road this season. The Predators average the second most goals per game at 3.50. They give up the least amount of goals per game at 2.19. Nashville is one of the best in the league during 5-on-5 play, but their special teams haven’t been great. They rank 30th on the power play at 13.6% and tied for 22nd on the penalty kill at 76.9%. Filip Forsberg leads the team with 10 goals. Viktor Arvidsson is second in scoring with 8 goals.
