Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss to the Colorado Avalanche. Anaheim is currently five points out of first place and three points out of a wild-card spot despite their inconsistent play. The Ducks will be at home for two more games this week before starting their five-game road trip.
Pontus Aberg leads the team with six goals. Jakob Silfverberg and Ryan Getzlaf have five goals. Getzlaf leads the team with 14 total points(5 G + 9 A).
Injury News
Hampus Lindholm(lower-body) was placed on the IR on Sunday. Patrick Eaves(back)and Cam Fowler(face) were both placed on the IR last week. Fowler had surgery this past Friday for his injured cheek. There hasn’t been an official word on how long he will be out, but it could be 1-2 months. Carter Rowney(Upper-Body) practiced yesterday but is still on the IR. Corey Perry(knee) and Korbinian Holzer(wrist) are on the long-term injury list.

The Ducks called up Kevin Boyle, Jake Dotchin, and Joshua Mahura prior to the game against Colorado. Boyle has been reassigned to San Diego. Max Comtois is currently on a conditioning loan in San Diego.

Vancouver Outlook
The Canucks are currently on a five-game losing streak. During that span, they have been outscored 22 to 10. Vancouver averages 3.57 goals against per game which is second worst in the league. Like the Ducks, they generate less than 30 shots on goal per game(28.6) and give up more than 30 shots against per game(32.5). Despite their recent struggles they are holding down the third spot in the Pacific Division.
