Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks played last night and behind a solid performance in net by Ryan Miller, beat the Lightning 3-1. Anaheim got goals from Josh Manson, Nick Ritchie, and Carter Rowney to help earn the two points. Anaheim is currently tied for third place in the Pacific Division and sit two points out of first place.

Pontus AbergRyan Getzlaf, and Adam Henrique lead the team with six goals. Jakob Silfverberg has five goals. Getzlaf leads the team with 17 total points(6 G + 11 A).

Hampus Lindholm(lower-body), Patrick Eaves(back), and Cam Fowler(face) are all still on the IR. Fowler had surgery a week ago Friday for his injured cheek. There hasn’t been an official word on how long he will be out, but it could be 1-2 months. Corey Perry(knee) and Korbinian Holzer(wrist) are on the long-term injury list. Carter Rowney was activated off the IR yesterday and played in the game against Tampa Bay.

Florida Outlook

The Panthers were recently on a three-game losing streak but did win their last contest against the New Jersey Devils. Florida can put some points during a game, averaging 3.27 goals per contest, but they also give up 3.59 against which is second worst in the league. Another concern for the Panthers is their penalty kill which is 75.7% efficient, ranked 26th in the league.

Mike Hoffman leads the team with 12 goals and total points(23). Evgeni Dadonov has 9 goals.
