The Ducks are currently on a three-game winning streak after beating Tampa Bay, Florida, and Carolina. Anaheim is in second place in the Pacific Division, just one point behind Calgary. Pontus Aberg and Ryan Getzlaf lead the team with seven goals. Adam Henrique has six goals. Getzlaf leads the team with 19 total points(7 G + 12 A).

Injury News

Patrick Eaves(back) and Cam Fowler(face) are both on the IR. Fowler had surgery on his injured cheek and his length of absence is unknown. Corey Perry(knee) and Korbinian Holzer(wrist) are on the long-term injury list. Hampus Lindholm was activated off the IR and played in the last game against Carolina.

Ben Street was placed on waivers and cleared them on Friday. Kalle Kossila was sent to San Diego.

Washington Outlook

The Capitals are on a seven-game winning streak and sit in first place in the Metropolitan Division. Washington continues to put up goals averaging 3.56 per game, which is 5th best in the league. They have a deadly power play that is 28.2% efficient, which is also 5th best in the league. They will look to work the forecheck and draw penalties against the Ducks today.

Alex Ovechkin leads the team with 19 points goals. Nicklas Backstrom and T.J. Oshie both have nine goals.
