Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming off a 4-1 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Anaheim scored first, but then Carolina scored four unanswered goals. The Ducks weren’t able to get much going in the second half of the game and couldn’t convert despite several power play chances. Anaheim is tied for second place in the Pacific Division with the San Jose Sharks at 35 points.

Pontus Aberg leads the teams with nine goals. Ryan Getzlaf has eight goals and leads the team with 22 total points(8 G + 14 A).

Injury News

Rickard Rakell sustained an ankle injury in the game against Chicago. He did not play in the game against Carolina. He has been wearing a walking boot and is listed as day-to-day.

Recently General Manager Bob Murray provided updates on Patrick Eaves and Cam Fowler. Eaves has been dealing with a broken rib, which also caused back spasms. He is out indefinitely. Fowler has been working out this weekend and hopefully will start skating 7-10 days after that. He could be back in mid-January.
