Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks losing streak continued against the Winnipeg Jets. Despite building a two-goal lead the Jets answered back and forced overtime. Anaheim would then lose in the extra session extending the losing streak to 11 games. Anaheim is tied for fourth place in the Pacific Division with Edmonton and Vancouver. General Manager Bob Murray made some comments after the loss and it appears head coach Randy Carlyle isn’t going to be fired at the moment. Murray is looking at the players to turn the ship around.
Jakob Silfverberg leads the team with 12 goals. Ryan Getzlaf has ten goals and leads the team with 31 total points(10 G + 21 A).
Injury News
Patrick Eaves is getting close to returning and could possibly play before the end of the month.

Detroit Outlook
The Red Wings are coming off a 5-2 win against the Minnesota Wild. Detroit got down 2-1, but two goals by Thomas Vanek and a hat trick by Tyler Bertuzzi propelled the Red Wings past the Wild. Detroit is currently 7th in the Atlantic Division and well out of a playoff spot, but they always seem to play well against Anaheim.
