Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks beat the Devils and have won two games in a row. Anaheim Ducks got down early by a goal but then answered with two quick scores. The Ducks added another goal in the third and then held off a late rally by the Devils to win 3-2. Troy Terry scored his first NHL goal. The Ducks keep hovering around the final wild-card spot in the Western Conference.
Jakob Silfverberg leads the team with 12 goals. Ryan Getzlaf has ten goals and leads the team with 32 total points(10 G + 22 A).
Injury Updates:
Ondrej Kase was placed on the IR with an upper-body injury.
Roster Moves:
Sam Carrick was recalled from San Diego.
Trades:
Anaheim made three trades this past week. Pontus Aberg was sent to Minnesota for Justin Kloos. Luke Schenn and a 2020 draft pick were sent to Vancouver for Michael Del Zotto. Lastly, the Ducks reacquired Derek Grant from Pittsburgh for Joseph Blandisi.

The Islanders are on a four-game winning streak. They beat Tampa Bay, St. Louis, New Jersey, and Washington. New York has been playing solid defense as they only gave up one goal in three of those contests and blanked the high octane Washington team. They leapfrogged Washington for first place in the Metropolitan with that victory.
Anders Lee leads the team with 18 goals. Mathew Barzal leads the team with 44 total points(13 G + 31 A).
