The Ducks came out the All-Star break and faced the Winnipeg Jets. Patrick Eaves, Korbinian Holzer, Corey Perry, and Jakob Silfverberg all returned to the lineup. Unfortunately for Anaheim, their return had little, if any, impact. The Jets came out flying scoring six goals in the opening period. The Ducks were able to get a few goals back but ultimately lost 9-3. The Ducks reside just outside the playoff picture, three points less than the second wild card-holding Vancouver Canucks.
None to report.
John Gibson 17-17-8, GAA 2.86, SV% .916(Confirmed)
Toronto is coming off a 3-2 win over Pittsburgh. The Penguins had built an early 2-0 lead, but the Leafs were able to score three unanswered goals to win the contest. They have gone 4-5-1 in their last 10 contests. The Maple Leafs are currently in second place in the Atlantic Divison. Recently Toronto acquired Jake Muzzin from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Carl Grundstrom, Sean Durzi, and a 2019 1st round pick.
Frederik Andersen 22-11-2, GAA 2.57, SV% .922 (Confirmed)
