Practice Report: Terry Out 8-12 Weeks
By Michael Walters
Anaheim Ducks General Manager and Head Coach Bob Murray announced today that Troy Terry will miss 8-12 weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his leg. Terry blocked a shot from Mark Giordano in the Ducks recent win against Calgary and had to crawl on the ice to get back to the bench.
Familiar Faces Return To Practice
Today the Ducks were back on the ice and a few injured players were present per a few reports. Ryan Getzlaf(back spasms) and Nick Ritchie(upper-body) were skating with the regular lines. Getzlaf and Ritchie have both been out since the March 22nd overtime win against the San Jose Sharks. Brendan Guhle(oblique) was skating but in a non-contact jersey per the Athletic’s Eric Stephens. He has been out since the March 5th game against the Arizona Coyotes. He could be back on Friday for the season finale according to Bob Murray.
According to the Athletic’s Eric Stephens, Josh Manson(upper-body) was not a participant in today’s practice and was non-committal about playing in the two final games of the season. It seems likely that he will sit out the remainder of the season. Manson collided with Tanner Pearson towards the end of the Ducks 5-4 win over the Canucks and hasn’t played since.
Roster Moves
Jake Dotchin, Kiefer Sherwood, and Chase De Leo have been reassigned to San Diego.
