Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks won their first two games on this homestand. They beat Buffalo 5-2 and Carolina 4-2 in two entertaining games. The Ducks had to rally from being two down against Buffalo and scored five consecutive goals to win. Against Carolina, the Ducks got out to a 4-0 lead and then held on to win 4-2. Anaheim is 4-0-0 at home this season.
The Ducks appear to be playing with more swag this season. In the last two games, it has been very noticeable that they are playing the body as much as possible and have been getting under the skin of their opponents. Anaheim has also been dropping the gloves more often this season.
Adam Henrique leads the team in scoring with five goals. Jakob Silfverberg has four goals.

Calgary Outlook
The Calgary Flames are having an up and down start to their season because their defense has been so inconsistent. In their four wins, they have held their opponents to two goals or less. In four of their five losses, they have given up four or more goals. They do have an excellent penalty kill at 86.5%. Their power play is 15.6% efficient.
Calgary played last night and lost to Los Angeles 4-1. The Kings jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the opening minutes of the game and then piled on three more goals in the beginning of the second period. Calgary had a difficult time staying out of the box as they gave up eight power-play chances to LA. The Flames can’t get down early tonight or it could be another long night. Cam Talbot will get the start in net since David Rittich started last night.
Elias Lindholm leads the team with five goals.

Juuso Välimäki tore his ACL in August and is expected to be out for several months.
