Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks started their road trip in Nashville and lost 6-1. The Ducks had chances in the game, but couldn’t convert while the Predators were opportunistic cashing in on their end. For the first time this season the Ducks have lost two games in a row. The Ducks need to play more disciplined hockey and hope they get some puck luck.
The Ducks will look to rebound against the Dallas Stars tonight as they face their old teammate Corey Perry. Perry was unable to start the season with a foot injury. He has played in four games so far this season recording one goal and two assists. It’s going to feel strange seeing him square off against his former team tonight.
Adam Henrique and Jakob Silfverberg lead the team in scoring with five goals.
Injury/Team Updates:
The Ducks signed Luca Sbisa to a one-year deal and placed him on waivers. The Winnipeg Jets claimed him.
Brendan Guhle has been removed from the IR and will draw in the lineup tonight per Dallas Eakins. There was no morning skate today, but Eakins confirmed that Max Comtois and Max Jones would both be playing tonight.
Projected Lineup (No Morning Skate)
Offense:
Max Comtois – Ryan Getzlaf – Ondrej Kase
Rickard Rakell – Adam Henrique – Jakob Silfverberg
Devin Shore – Sam Steel – Troy Terry
Max Jones – Derek Grant – Carter Rowney
Defense:
Hampus Lindholm – Josh Manson
Brendan Guhle – Cam Fowler
Jacob Larsson – Michael Del Zotto
In Net:
John Gibson 4-4-0, GAA 2.24, SV% .927(Confirmed)

Dallas Outlook
The Dallas Stars are off to a rough start this season. They lost eight of the first nine games they played. The Stars have, however, won their last two games beating Philadelphia 4-1 and edging Ottawa 2-1.
The Stars are struggling to generate offense as they average 2.09 goals per game, which is the worst in the league. Like the Ducks, their power play is struggling as they have only converted 9.4% of their chances. Their penalty kill is in the top ten of the league at 84.6% efficiency. Dallas has gotten some goals from their big name players, but they are going to need more out of them if they want to get their season on track.
Roope Hintz leads the team with six goals.
Injury/Team Updates:
Blake Comeau(lower body), Stephen Johns(head), and Roman Polak(upper body) are all on the IR. Martin Hanzal is on the LTIR with a back injury and is not expected to play this season.
Projected Lineup
Offense
Jason Dickinson – Tyler Seguin – Joe Pavelski
Jamie Benn – Roope Hintz – Corey Perry
Mattias Janmark – Radek Faksa – Alexander Radulov
Andrew Cogliano – Justin Dowling – Denis Gurianov
Defense:
Miro Heiskanen – John Klingberg
Esa Lindell – Andrej Sekera
Jamie Oleksiak – Taylor Fedun
In Net
Ben Bishop 2-4-1, GAA 2.57, SV% .913(Confirmed)
