Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks return home after a rough road trip that saw them drop three out of the four games. Ondrej Kase(upper body), Hampus Lindholm(lower body), and Josh Manson(lower body) were all injured on the trip. Brendan Guhle has been dealing with an injury on and off this season and wasn’t on the ice for the morning skate today. He is doubtful for tonight.
The Ducks are going to be looking for some home cooking as they start a seven-game homestand tonight against the Winnipeg Jets. Anaheim will have to deal with the injury bug already this season and they will need to play more disciplined hockey. With a depleted blue line, the Ducks can’t afford to be down a skater too many times trying to kill off penalties.
Adam Henrique leads the team with seven goals.
Injury/Team Updates:
Josh Mahura has been recalled from San Diego and should play tonight.
Josh Manson(lower body) has been placed on the IR and Ondrej Kase(upper body) is day-to-day.
Hampus Lindholm(lower body)was on the ice at the morning skate, but will not play tonight per Dallas Eakins.

Winnipeg Outlook
The Winnipeg Jets have had an up and down season winning six games and also losing six games. Their recent homestand saw them go 2-4-0. They lost four games in regulation and the wins came in a shootout and another in overtime.
The Jets have been averaging 2.5 goals per game, which is 26th in the league. They give up 3.08 goals against per game, which is 15th most in the league. Like the Ducks, the Jets have had trouble at times generating offense. Another area of concern this season has been their special teams play. Their power play is only 16.3% efficient and the penalty kill is only killing off 64% of their opponent’s power plays, ranking dead last in the league. Special teams play could play a big part as to who wins or loses this contest.
Kyle Connor, Nikolaj Ehlers, and Mark Scheifele are tied for the team lead in goals with four each.
Injury/Team Updates:
Mark Letestu(undisclosed) is on the IR and out at least until the end of the month.
Nathan Beaulieu(upper body) is on the IR and could return Friday against San Jose.
Patrik Laine is doubtful tonight with a lower body injury per Sportsnet’s Darren Dreger.
Projected Lineup
Offense:
Kyle Connor – Mark Scheifele – Blake Wheeler
Nikolaj Ehlers – Bryan Little – Jack Roslovic
Mathieu Perreault – Andrew Copp – Logan Shaw
Ville Heinola – David Gustafsson – Gabriel Bourque
Defense:
Josh Morrissey – Tucker Poolman
Dmitry Kulikov – Neal Pionk
Carl Dahlstrom – Anthony Bitetto
In Net
Connor Hellebuyck 5-4-0, GAA 2.21, SV% .933(Unconfirmed)
