Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks are currently in the middle of a seven-game homestand. They have gone 2-2-1 so far beating Winnipeg and Vancouver but then losing to Chicago, Minnesota, and Edmonton. Coming out of their four-day break, the Ducks played the Oilers. Hampus Lindholm was placed on the IR just before the game and the Ducks missed him greatly as they had no answer for Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.
The Ducks are now without two of their top defensemen in Lindholm and Josh Manson. They have recalled Brendan Guhle and he will likely draw in tonight. The Ducks are facing a struggling Detroit team tonight, but they can’t take them from granted as the Ducks have lost to a few subpar teams already on this homestand.
Adam Henrique leads the team with eight goals. Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Silfverberg have 7 goals each.
Injury/Team Updates:
Hampus Lindholm(lower-body) was placed on the IR.
Brendan Guhle was called from San Diego.
Simon Benoit and Max Comtois have been reassigned to the Gulls.
