Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks are in the middle of a four-game road trip. They started out with a 4-1 win over the St. Louis Blues. Then in a heated contest, they lost to the Washington Capitals 5-2. They then traveled to Florida to play the Panthers. Despite building a four-goal lead in the second period, Florida managed to rally and score four goals of their own to tie the game. Eventually, the Ducks would lose in overtime 5-4.
The good news for the Ducks is Hampus Lindholm is expected to return tonight. He last played on November 5th when Anaheim took on Minnesota. Since that time the Ducks have gone 1-3-2 and only managed four points. The Ducks gave up 26 goals in that time span. Outside of the game against St. Louis, Anaheim had given up four or more goals in the other five contests.
Bottom line? The Ducks REALLY miss Lindholm in their lineup. And Josh Manson being out at the same time doesn’t help either.
Jakob Silfverberg leads the team with 9 goals.

Tampa Bay Outlook
The Lightning aren’t off to a dominating start like seasons past, but they are still a solid team. Tampa Bay is 4-2-1 at home this season and offensively they can put up goals almost at will as they average 3.58 tallies per game. On the power play, they are 29.8% efficient which is third best in the league.
The defense tells a different story about this team, however. Tampa Bay can score goals, but they also give up 3.37 goals against per game. Their penalty kill is also struggling at 79.1% efficiency. This could be a high scoring contest like the previous game when Anaheim played Florida.
Steven Stamkos leads the team in scoring with 7 goals.

Carter Verhaeghe – Tyler Johnson – Cory Conacher
