Anaheim Outlook
The Anaheim Ducks are coming off a 5-1 loss to the New Rangers. The Ducks were without several players due to illness and/or injury. Ryan Getzlaf missed his second straight game with the flu. Jakob Silfverberg also sat out as well due to feeling ill. Coach Dallas Eakins said the flu was going around the locker room.
Ducks are also still without Troy Terry(knee) and Derek Grant(shoulder), who are both on the IR. Rickard Rakell suffered an upper-body injury last weekend and is questionable for tonight. The Ducks played the Golden Knights back in October losing 5-2. After tonight the Ducks will also play them in Vegas on New Year’s Eve.
Jakob Silfverberg leads the team with 13 goals.
Team News:
Daniel Sprong has been recalled per the Ducks.
Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Silfverberg will both play tonight per Coach Dallas Eakins. Getzlaf was placed on the IR retroactively(Dec 19th). Since he served the seven-day minimum requirement once being placed on the IR, he is able to play tonight.
Rickard Rakell is still out with an upper-body injury.

Vegas Outlook
The Golden Knights are currently tied with the Arizona Coyotes for first place in the Pacific Division, however, they have played one more game than Arizona. They have been a balanced team on the road and at home as they have identical records of 10-7-3.
Vegas scores almost three goals(2.98) a game, but they also give up 2.95 on average against. Their power play is just outside the top ten in the league at 21.3% efficiency. Their penalty kill is ranked 9th at 82.5% efficiency.
Max Pacioretty leads the team in scoring with 16 goals.
