Podcast: New Year, Same Ducks?
By Michael Walters
After the holiday break, the Anaheim Ducks came out with a victory against the Vegas Golden Knights at Honda Center. It was the first time the Ducks were able to earn a win at home against the Golden Knights. Ryan Getzlaf and Jakob Silfverberg returned to the ice after having been out with the flu.
Since then the Ducks went on a losing streak dropping games to Philadelphia, Vegas, and Arizona. Anaheim has had trouble scoring offensively and key mistakes have led to goals for their opponents.
Anaheim has several players out with injuries currently. Rickard Rakell(upper-body) unfortunately has been out as well and was just placed on the IR.
On this show, we take about the Ducks lack of scoring depth and discuss a variety of topics that include:
-Addressing The Rebuild Process
–Jakob Silfverberg The All-Star
-Trevor Zegras Impresses at the World Juniors
–Corey Perry‘s Walk of Shame
This show is dedicated to my mother Linda Walters. She is the reason why I became a Ducks fan. I will miss her and love her always.
