The Anaheim Ducks are coming off a 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning last night. The Ducks made a few mistakes, but still created chances to win the contest. They scored a late goal by Troy Terry but still came up short by one goal.
It’s Hockey Day in Southern California and the Ducks will turn their attention to the Los Angeles Kings tonight. The Ducks have played the Kings twice already this season. Both games took place at Honda Center. The Ducks won the first contest 4-2 and then lost the second meeting 2-1. Tonight will be the third of five meetings against LA this season.
Adam Henrique leads the team with 17 goals.
Ryan Miller 4-5-2, GAA 3.20, SV% .899 (Confirmed)

Los Angeles Outlook
The Kings, just like the Ducks, haven’t had the season go the way they have wanted it to. The Kings are currently in last place in the Pacific Division, but they are only two points behind the Ducks. The Kings have gone 2-7-1 in their last 10 games.
The Kings have some similar stats as the Ducks. They average 2.50 goals per game and give up 3.12 against like Anaheim. They are 27.3% efficient on the power play and kill off 74.2% of their penalties.
Anze Kopitar leads the team each in scoring with 17 goals.
Drew Doughty will not play tonight due to an undisclosed injury.
