Anaheim Outlook
Anaheim returned home to face the St. Louis Blues this past Tuesday. The Ducks were tied with the Blues just over halfway through the first period when the unspeakable happened. Jay Bouwmeester collapsed while on the Blues bench and had to be rushed to the hospital. The Blues GM Doug Armstrong reported that Bouwmeester is in stable condition and undergoing tests to determine what happened. The Ducks and Blues will make up the game at a later date.
Tonight the Ducks will face the Flames for the second time tonight. Anaheim lost to Calgary back in October by a score of 2-1. The Ducks will face the Flames again next week on Monday and one more time in March.
Adam Henrique leads the team with 18 goals.
Team News:
Erik Gudbranson was placed on the IR. He was seen with his arm in a sling per the Athletic’s Eric Stephens.
Ondrej Kase was scratched in the last two games due to the flu per the Ducks.
Josh Mahura was reassigned to San Diego.

Calgary Outlook
The Flames played the Los Angeles Kings last night and lost in a wild 5-3 game. Calgary started the scoring in the second period, but LA answered with two goals to take a 2-1 lead. The teams exchanged scores on two occasions in the third period. Calgary was down 4-3 with about three minutes to go, but couldn’t get the tying score. The Kings got an empty-net goal in the final seconds and won 5-3.
Calgary averages 2.72 goals per game and gives up 3.05 goals against. Their power play is 21.0% efficient and they kill off penalties 81.2% of the time.
Elias Lindholm leads the team in scoring with 24 goals.
