Terry Signs 3-Year Extension

The Anaheim Ducks announced today that they signed Troy Terry to a three-year contract extension. Terry’s contract has been extended to the 2022-23 season.

Per Cap Friendly, the contract is worth $4.35 million and has a $1,450,000 AAV. There are no bonuses in the contract. When the contract expires Terry will be a Restricted Free Agent(RFA) with arbitration rights.

The break down for each season is as follows:
2020-21: $1,350,000
2021-22: $1,450,000
2022-23: $1,550,000

Terry appeared in 47 games last season with Anaheim, registering 15 total points(4 goals + 11 assists). His on-ice rating was -5 and he had 6 penalty minutes. In a total of 81 NHL games with Anaheim, Terry has recorded 28 total points(8 goals + 20 assists). His on-ice rating is +3 and he has 8 penalty minutes.

The Ducks now currently have seven RFAs, Chase De Leo, Alex Dostie, Jacob Larsson, Sonny Milano, Joel Persson, Deven Sideroff, and Kiefer Sherwood.

The Ducks list of unrestricted free agents includes Kevin Boyle, Kyle Criscuolo, Michael Del Zotto, Matt Irwin, Justin Kloos, Blake Pietila, Andrew Poturalski, Ryan Miller, Chris Mueller, and Chris Wideman.
