The Ducks have won two games in a row. They had an emotional win over the Montreal Canadiens. Anaheim was able to break their six game losing streak, but the bigger story was Ryan Getzlaf. Anaheim followed up the game against Montreal, with a 4-0 win over the New Jersey Devils. The Ducks scored a few early goals on the power play and never looked back. Trevor Zegras was tripped by P.K. Max Jones(upper body) left the game early in the third period against Calgary as he appeared to be favoring his left arm while being engaged in front of the net. He was also placed on the IR. He had surgery to repair a pectoralis major tendon tear and will be out for 4-6 months.
The Coyotes have had an extremely rough start to the season losing all 10 of their games so far. Nine of the losses came in regulation and one came in the shootout against Buffalo.
