Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are on a roll winning their last seven games in a row. They beat Montreal, New Jersey, Arizona, and St. Louis at home. Anaheim then went on the road and beat Vancouver in a thriller that needed overtime. They took down Seattle high scoring affair 7-4. The Ducks returned home and then beat Vancouver again this time 5-1.

The Ducks have outscored their opponents 30-11 during that time span. This is the longest winning streak the Ducks have had with Dallas Eakins as the head coach.

Anaheim continues to thrive on special teams. The Ducks are 28.3% efficient on the power play, which ranks 5th in the league. Their penalty kill is 86.4% efficient, which is tied for fifth in the NHL.

Injury News:

Max Comtois was out last game with an upper-body injury.

Rickard Rakell left the game against Buffalo holding his left arm and didn’t finish the game. He was placed on the IR with a shoulder injury and is considered week-to-week.

Max Jones(upper body) left the game early in the third period against Calgary as he appeared to be favoring his left arm while being engaged in front of the net. He was also placed on the IR. He had surgery to repair a pectoralis major tendon tear and will be out for 4-6 months.

Washington Outlook
