Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks had a mini-break this weekend as they didn’t have a game scheduled since last Thursday. Anaheim was riding an 8 game winning streak, but then they had it snapped against Carolina. The Ducks played a decent game, but came up short losing 2-1 to the Canes.
Despite the loss, Troy Terry scored the only goal for Anaheim, extending his point streak to 16 games.
Anaheim continues to thrive on special teams. The Ducks are 26.8% efficient on the power play, which ranks 4th in the league. Their penalty kill is 86.7% efficient, which is 7th in the NHL.

Roster Moves:
Mason McTavish was reassigned to the OHL Peterborough Petes. He had played nine games in the NHL. If he had played 10, then the first year of his entry level contract would have used up.

Injury News:
Max Comtois had surgery to remove a bone in his hand. He is on the IR and will be out for about 6 weeks.
Rickard Rakell has been removed from the IR. He will be ready to play tonight.
Max Jones(upper body) left the game early in the third period against Calgary as he appeared to be favoring his left arm while being engaged in front of the net. He was also placed on the IR. He had surgery to repair a pectoralis major tendon tear and will be out for 4-6 months.
