Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks were on an 8 game winning streak, but have lost their last two games. Anaheim lost to Carolina 2-1 and then lost 3-2 to Nashville. Troy Terry did not register a point in the game against Nashville, ending his point streak at 16 games.

Anaheim continues to thrive on special teams. The Ducks are 25.9% efficient on the power play, which ranks 5th in the league. Their penalty kill is 85.7% efficient, which is 9th in the NHL.

Troy Terry leads the team in scoring with 12 goals.

Roster Moves:

Mason McTavish was reassigned to the OHL Peterborough Petes. He had played nine games in the NHL. If he had played 10, then the first year of his entry level contract would have used up.

Injury News:

Adam Henrique left the game early against Nashville with a hand injury. According to the Athletic’s Eric Stephens, Henrique has a dislocated finger and it’s unclear how long he will be out. He will not play against Colorado night.

Max Comtois had surgery to remove a bone in his hand. He is on the IR and will be out for about 6 weeks.

Max Jones(upper body) left the game early in the third period against Calgary as he appeared to be favoring his left arm while being engaged in front of the net. He was also placed on the IR. He had surgery to repair a pectoralis major tendon tear and will be out for 4-6 months.
