Anaheim Outlook
After a solid 4-0 win over Ottawa, the Ducks lost to the Maple Leafs. After hanging even with Toronto for a period, Anaheim got down by two goals in the second period. The Ducks got on the board in the third, but it was too little too late and lost 5-1.

Los Angeles Outlook
The Kings were on a five game losing streak dropping games to Winnipeg, Washington, Carolina, Arizona, and Toronto. The Kings broke the losing streak with a 4-2 win over Ottawa. The game took a strange turn while Brendan Lemieux fought Brady Tkachuk. During the scrap, Lemieux bit Tkachuk’s hand. He had a hearing today and was suspended for five games.
Los Angeles is in 6th place in the Pacific Division with 21 points. They are four points behind the Ducks. The Kings have been decent on the power play and struggled while shorthanded. Their power play is 18.6% efficient, which is 15th best. On the penalty kill they are 77.6% efficient, good for 26th in the NHL.
