VIDEO: Kings Double Up Ducks; Congratulate Getzlaf

The Anaheim Ducks traveled to LA to face the Kings one more time this season. Anthony Stolarz was in net against Jonathan Quick.

The Kings scored first in this contest. LA got a 2-on-1 and Arthur Kaliyev scored.
Ryan Getzlaf had a great chance for the Ducks. He intercepted a pass and broke in alone on Quick, but couldn’t beat him with a backhand chance.
The Ducks got into penalty trouble and were down two players, but were able to kill of the Kings 5-on-3 power play. LA held a 1-0 lead after the opening 20 minutes.
Anaheim would get a power play early in the second period and Trevor Zegras would score to tie the game up.
The Ducks would then take a 2-1 lead on a goal by Gerald Mayhew. He flipped the puck into the Kings zone towards the net. Quick when to play the puck with his stick and whiffed. The puck went under his stick and into the back of the net.
Matt Roy would answer for the Kings and the teams remained tied at two after two periods.
The Kings would take the lead in the third period on a goal by Alexander Edler. LA held a one goal edge until late in the game. The Ducks pulled Gibson for the extra skater, but the Kings scored again to put the game away.
In the final seconds of the game, Kaliyev cross-checked Josh Mahura and the teams came together. After some pushing and shoving a few penalties were handed out before the conclusion of the game. LA went on to win 4-2.
After the game the Kings players lined up and shook hands with Getzlaf. The coaching staff and trainers also congratulated Getzlaf on his career. Classy move by the Kings organization.
