Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks started off this season with a win in dramatic fashion. Troy Terry got the scoring started in the opening moments of the game, but then Seattle took over and held a 4-2 lead in the third period. The Ducks were able to rally to tie the game and force overtime. In the extra session, Terry would strike again with a backhand goal for the game winner. John Gibson earned an assist on the goal as he made a great outlet pass to spring Terry down the ice.

Roster Moves:

Noah Warren was reassigned to his junior team in Canada.

Injury News:

Urho Vaakanainen suffered an upper-body injury when he slammed into the boards during a preseason game against the San Jose Sharks. It’s unknown when he will be able to return.

Sam Carrick had hip surgery during the off season. He will start skating this month and hopefully could return by the end of the October.

John Moore is also on the IR with an undisclosed injury.
