Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks lost in overtime to the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday night. The Ducks got down 2-0 and were able to rally to build a 4-2 lead. The Avs then responded by tying the game up in regulation at four. In overtime Colorado scored to go ahead and earn two points. Anaheim is currently in the 3rd draft lottery position.

The team has been averaging 2.51 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.09 against. They are 15.8% efficient with the extra man and 72.4% efficient on the penalty kill. Anaheim also gives up on average 39.2 shots per game which is the most in the league. They average 28.3 shots on goal.

Injury News:

Max Comtois will miss the final three games of the season with an upper-body injury.

Jamie Drysdale has been skating at practice, but he won’t return this season according to head coach Dallas Eakins.

Anthony Stolarz had knee surgery recently. The estimated recovery time is 6-8 weeks.

Jackson LaCombe signed a two year entry deal yesterday and he will make his NHL debut tonight.
