Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming off a 3-2 win against the New Jersey Devils. Anaheim built a 2-0 lead early in the third period, but New Jersey countered with two goals of their own. Ryan Strome answered back and the Ducks pulled out a 3-2 win on New Year’s Eve. Anaheim has won their last two games against Edmonton and New Jersey.

Team/Injury News:

Nikita Nesterenko was recalled from San Diego. The Ducks likely made the move because they only have 12 healthy forwards with Trevor Zegras still unavailable.

Brock McGinn (knee) tweaked his leg near the boards last week against Vegas. He has been placed on the IR.

Trevor Zegras said his knee is feeling good and thinks he could be back before the original six week timeline estimate. He did start skating again.
