Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are riding a three game winning streak against three top teams in the NHL. Anaheim beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-3, the New Jersey Devils 3-2, and then grounded the Winnipeg Jets 4-3 in overtime last night.

Yesterday the Ducks were down 3-2 late in regulation when Radko Gudas took a blast from just inside the blue line to tie things up. In overtime, Troy Terry scored on a 2-on-1 rush to complete the comeback. John Gibson returned to action after being out since December 23rd when he took a stick to his face. Lukáš Dostál will get the start tonight in net.

Team/Injury News:

Nikita Nesterenko was recalled from San Diego. The Ducks likely made the move because they only have 12 healthy forwards with Trevor Zegras still unavailable.

Brock McGinn (knee) tweaked his leg near the boards last week against Vegas. He has been placed on the IR.

Trevor Zegras said his knee is feeling good and thinks he could be back before the original six week timeline estimate. He did start skating again.
