Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming off a devastating 4-3 loss to the San Jose Sharks. Anaheim was up 2-1 to start the third period and had a 3-2 lead late, but ending up giving up two goals in the final minutes of the game.

The Ducks have blown third period leads in consecutive games and have lost three in a row. Anaheim is still in first place, but now tied in terms of points with Edmonton. The Ducks do have one game in hand.

Team Injuries/News:

Ross Johnston is expected to be out 3-4 weeks with a lower body injury according to Head Coach Joel Quenneville.

Jansen Harkins had surgery on his had a few days ago and is going to be out for about a month.

Cutter Gauthier (upper-body), Radko Gudas (lower-body), and Pavel Mintyukov (lower-body) all did not play in the last game against San Jose. They will also not play tonight. Head Coach Joel Quenneville said Cutter is questionable for Saturday’s game.
