Hit The Reset
By: Victor Cabrera
Overview:
The Tampa Bay Lightning look to bounce back against the Columbus Blue Jackets after a 4-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday. Tonight will be the third game of the season and a chance to get some momentum started. Let’s see how this game goes for the home side.
Tampa Bay Lightning Outlook
There’s a projected change in the forward lines tonight but soon that’ll be discussed. The Lightning have struggled offensively just three goals in their first two games combined. It’s difficult to get wins with low scoring. The team is a solid group of players both on offense and defense. The line up is a great mix of veteran and young players such as Adam Erne and Mathieu Joseph.
The projected lines for today come with a change as Stamkos and Kucherov are on different lines.
Offense
Gourde-Stamkos-Point
Palat-Johnson-Kucherov
Killorn-Cirelli-Joseph
Erne-Paquette-Miller
Defense
Hedman-Girardi
McDonagh-Stralman
Coburn-Sergachev
Goalies
Vasilevskiy
Domingue
Let’s see how the offense changes with Kucherov and Stamkos on separate lines.
Columbus Blue Jackets Outlook
The Blue Jackets are being lead by Artemi Panarin who has 7 points so far who is on the last year of his contract. Bobrovsky is another key player in their scheme who is also on his last year of his deal. An important defensemen is absent in the line up that being Seth Jones.Columbus is a great opponent for the Lightning as they are both potentially playoff teams. Can the Lightning defense shut down a hot Columbus offense?
Offense
Panarin-Dubois-Atkinson
Foligno-Wennberg-Duclair
Jenner-Nash-Bjorkstrand
Milano-Sedlak-Anderson
Defense
Werenski-Savard
Murray-Nutivaara
Harrington-Clendening
Goalies
