The Lightning Look to be the Better of the Two Storms
By Victor Cabrera
Overview
The Tampa Bay Lightning host the Carolina Hurricanes at Amalie Arena for what is sure to be a competitive matchup. The Bolts come off a 4-0 win against Columbus while the Canes have won their last five and look to make it six. This will be the front end of back to back games for the Carolina Hurricanes. Vasilevskiy, Kucherov, Stamkos, and Aho have been selected for the all star game this year while, Point and Teravainen are on the last man in list. Now to break down this matchup.
Tampa Bay Lightning Outlook
The Lightning are lead by Nikita Kucherov and Brayden Point as two of the top productive forward in the NHL. While Vasilevskiy continues to be stellar in net. Hopefully the team can build up some momentum following the last win against the Blue Jackets. Subject to line changes as Sergachev or Callahan may be in.

Carolina Hurricanes Outlook
The Hurricanes have won their last five games and are being lead by their all star Sebastian Aho who leads the team in goals, assists, and points (16 G, 29 A, 45 P). Although this team may not have big names and depth like Tampa they are dangerous and are hot. This is not a team to take lightly, their young core can change the game.
