Lightning Look to Blow Away the Leafs
By: Philip Wunderlich
The Bolts are heading back home tonight to face the team who is currently in second place in the Atlantic Division, the Toronto Maple Leafs. This is the game that we have been saying you need to circle on your calendar because it’s going to be a great one with tons of offensive talent. I, myself would not be shocked at all if the Bolts and Leafs put up four or more goals a piece.
Tampa Bay Outlook:
As discussed earlier the Bolts will need to play their best against the Maple Leafs and despite the Leafs not having the greatest defense they have a tremendous offense and a great power play as well. The Bolts need to stay out of the box and play a defensive minded game if they want to be successful tonight. The Bolts will again be without Mathieu Joseph tonight as he scratched for his second straight game.
Tampa Bay Lines:
Offense
Palat-Stamkos-Gourde
Johnson-Point-Kucherov
Killorn-Cirelli-Erne
Miller-Paquette-Callahan
Defense
Hedman-Girardi
McDonagh-Cernak
Sergachev-Stralman
Goalies
Vasilevskiy
Domingue
Toronto Outlook:
The Leafs will have to do much of the same as the Bolts do in order to win this one. They need to stay out of the box considering the Lightning are still number one in the power play category. The Leafs will also need to play a defensive game considering at every given moment the Bolts can put a four or five spot against you.
Toronto Lines:
Offense
Johnsson-Tavares-Marner
Hyman-Matthews-Nylander
Marleau-Kadri-Kapanen
Lindholm-Gauthier-Brown
Defense
Rielly-Hainsey
Gardiner-Zaitsev
Dermott-Ozhiganov
Goalies
Andersen
Sparks
