Lightning Play The Second Half of the Back to Back as They Head to the Big Apple
By: Philip Wunderlich
The Lightning head to the Big Apple to face some familiar faces as they face the Rangers. The Bolts are coming off a shutout victory against the Islanders and the Rangers are also coming off a win against the Devils. Domingue is expected in net tonight for the Bolts.
Tampa Bay Outlook:
The Bolts need to play a solid defensive game like they did last night if they want to be successful. Domingue has not been in net much since Vasilevskiy has made his return from injury so the Bolts need play well in front of him. Joseph will also be in the lineup tonight as Callahan will be the healthy scratch tonight.
Tampa Bay Lines:
Offense
Johnson – Point – Kucherov
Palat – Stamkos – Gourde
Killorn – Cirelli – Miller
Erne – Paquette – Joseph
Defense
Hedman – Girardi
McDonagh – Cernak
Coburn – Sergachev
Goalies
Domingue
Vasilevskiy
New York Outlook:
The Bolts tend to struggle against the teams that they should beat on paper. The Rangers will look to come out hot and will need to score first if they want to be successful. The Rangers will likely start Lundqvist as well so they will get the upper hand in between the pipes.
New York Lines:
Offense
Kreider – Zibanejad – Zuccarello
Buchnevich – Hayes – Fast
Chytil – Strome – Namestnikov
McLeod – Nieves – Vesey
Defense
Skjei – McQuaid
Staal – Pionk
Smith – Shattenkirk
