The Lightning Look to Get Back on Track as the Blues Come to Tampa
By: Philip Wunderlich
The Lightning may reveal their third jersey tonight but we are hoping they reveal a W on the score sheet tonight as they face the St. Louis Blues. The Blues have been struggling for most of the season however they are just one point out of the wild card race.
Tampa Bay Outlook:
The Bolts can not take the Blues’ struggles for granted and play their full 60 tonight. A couple players for the Blues that are always dynamic are Ryan O’Reilly and Vladimir Tarasenko so the Bolts will need to shut them down. The Lightning are coming off a shoot out loss against the Knights so the Bolts will hopefully turn it around tonight.
Tampa Bay Lines:
Offense
Johnson – Point – Kucherov
Palat – Stamkos – Gourde
Killorn – Cirelli – Miller
Erne – Paquette – Joseph
Defense
Hedman – Stralman
Mcdonagh – Cernak
Coburn – Sergachev
Goalies
Vasilevskiy
Domingue
St. Louis Outlook:
The Blues will look to get the win tonight to get back into the wild card spot tonight. However getting a win against the Lightning it will not be an easy task. They will likely look to rely on their forward Ryan O’Reilly tonight as he has over a point per game.
St. Louis Lines:
Offense
Schenn – O’Reilly – Tarasenko
Schwartz – Bozak – Steen
Sanford – Sundqvist – Maroon
MacEachern – Barbashev – Thomas
Defense
