Earlier in the season the Ducks were on an 8-game winning streak after beating the Capitals and were in first place in the Pacific Division. After that game the Ducks went on to lose four of their next five games. Anaheim is currently on a two game winning streak.

Overall the Ducks have improved and exceeded expectations so far this season, but are they a contender or pretender? We take a look at Anaheim’s performance with a quarter of the season already under their belt.
