Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks continue their road trip tonight against the Boston Bruins. After winning on opening night, Anaheim is now on a three game losing streak. In their last contest, the Ducks built a 2-0 lead on two goals by Jakob Silfverberg, who returned to the lineup after experiencing flu like symptoms. Things looked good in the first half of the game, but the Devils rallied to tie the game in the second period and then pulled away in the third to earn the victory.
Anaheim has been averaging 42.5 shots on goal against, while registering 23 in their favor. The Ducks have struggled on the penalty kill(62.5% efficiency), but have had success on the power play(16.7% efficiency). The team has been averaging 3 goals per game, but has also been giving up 5.25 against. It’s early in the season as the Ducks try to work some of the kinks out of their game.
Troy Terry leads the Ducks in scoring with 6 total points(3 G + 3 A).

Urho Vaakanainen suffered an upper-body injury when he slammed into the boards during a preseason game against the San Jose Sharks. He is currently on the IR.
