Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks continue their road trip today against the Detroit Red Wings. Anaheim has yet to earn a win on this road trip. The Ducks have gone 0-3-1 so far in their first 4 road games. Their best chance to earn a win came in their last game against Boston where Anaheim could have won in regulation, overtime, and even in the shootout. Instead the Ducks had to settle for one point, but it was arguable their best game of the season.
Anaheim has been averaging 42.5 shots on goal against, while registering 23 in their favor. The Ducks have struggled on the penalty kill(71.4% efficiency) and have been average on the power play(12.5% efficiency). The team has been averaging 2.60 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.40 against. It’s early in the season as the Ducks try to work some of the kinks out of their game.
Troy Terry leads the Ducks in scoring with 6 total points(3 G + 3 A).
