Anaheim Outlook
The Ducks return home after going 0-4-1 on their five game opening road trip of the season. Anaheim started off the trip against the Islanders and lost 7-1. The Ducks were in the games against the Rangers and Devils, but lost both of those two contests. Anaheim was able to scratch out one point against Boston, and then got dropped 5-1 by the Red Wings. It’s been a slow start to the season for the Ducks, which shouldn’t be a surprise. They will look to try to turn things around with two of the next three games at home.
Anaheim has been averaging 41.2 shots on goal against, while registering 26 in their favor. The Ducks have struggled on the penalty kill(65.4% efficiency) and on the power play(10% efficiency). The team has been averaging 2.33 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.50 against. It’s early in the season as the Ducks try to work some of the kinks out of their game.
Troy Terry leads the Ducks in scoring with 7 total points(3 G + 4 A).

John Moore is also on the IR with an undisclosed injury.

Andrei Vasilevskiy was in net last night, so Brian Elliott should get the start tonight.
Steven Stamkos leads the team in scoring with 9 total points(7 G + 2 A).
