Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks play their second game on the homestand tonight. They lost their last game on Sunday against Florida 5-3. Anaheim has been able win some games recently in the shootout, but they still haven’t won a game in regulation yet this season. They have been trending upward recently, but remain a work in progress.

Anaheim has been averaging 39.8 shots on goal against, while registering 28.8 in their favor. The Ducks have struggled on the penalty kill(63.3% efficiency) and on the power play(11.4% efficiency). The team has been averaging 2.85 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.62 against.

Adam Henrique will not play tonight because his wife is expecting to deliver soon.

Pavol Regenda was recalled from San Diego.

Injury News:

Jamie Drysdale will be out with a torn labrum(left shoulder) for 4-6 months.

Sam Carrick was placed on a conditioning loan to San Diego.

Urho Vaakanainen suffered an upper-body injury when he slammed into the boards during a preseason game against the San Jose Sharks. He is currently on the IR.

John Moore is also on the IR with an undisclosed injury.

Minnesota Outlook 

The Wild are coming off a lose last night in LA, getting shutout 1-0 by the Kings. Minnesota is currently on a two game losing streak and in 6th place in the Central Division. The Wild have had success on the power play(25.6% efficiency) and have been average on the penalty kill(76.3%). They average 2.83 goals for per game and give up 3.42 on average against.
