Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks are coming of a 3-2 overtime win against the Red Wings. Anaheim was down by a goal with less than a minute left in regulation and tied the game on a goal by John Klingberg. The Ducks went on to win in overtime on a goal by Ryan Strome. The Ducks now go on the road for three games with the first stop in Winnipeg.

Anaheim has been averaging 38.8 shots on goal against, while registering 30.2 in their favor. The Ducks have struggled on the penalty kill(65% efficiency) and on the power play(10.9% efficiency). The team has been averaging 2.69 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.31 against.

Troy Terry leads the Ducks with 19 total points(6 G + 13 A).

Injury News:

Nathan Beaulieu (arm) hasn’t played since the game against Minnesota.

Derek Grant (rib) was placed on the IR(retroactive to November 3rd).

Kevin Shattenkirk (lower-body injury) was placed on the IR.

Jamie Drysdale will be out with a torn labrum(left shoulder) for 4-6 months.

Urho Vaakanainen suffered an upper-body injury when he slammed into the boards during a preseason game against the San Jose Sharks. He is currently on the IR.

John Moore is also on the IR with an undisclosed injury.

Winnipeg Outlook 

The Jets are coming off a overtime win against the Seattle Kraken. Their game was similar to the Ducks last game against the Red Wings. The Jets were down 2-1 and scored a goal late in the third period to force overtime and then went on to win in the extra session.

Winnipeg is currently in 2nd place in the Central Division. They have been averaging about 3 goals(3.07) per game. They give up 2.36 goals against on average. Their special teams have been decent at 20% efficiency on the power play and 83.8% efficiency on the penalty kill.

Josh Morrissey leads the team in total points with 15(1 G + 14 A).
