Anaheim Outlook

The Ducks return home after losing all three games on their road trip. They didn’t play terribly in two of the three games, but the results were the same as they lost each contest. Anaheim will play three games at home during the holiday weekend with the first against the New York Rangers. The Ducks are still looking for their first regulation win.

Anaheim has been averaging 37.5 shots on goal against, while registering 30.2 in their favor. The Ducks have struggled on the penalty kill(64.2% efficiency) and on the power play(13.2% efficiency). The team has been averaging 2.53 goals per game, but has also been giving up 4.26 against.

Troy Terry leads the Ducks with 20 total points(7 G + 13 A).

Injury News:

Max Comtois is day-to-day with a lower body injury. He is currently being re-evaluated.

Nathan Beaulieu (arm) is currently on the IR(retroactive to November 9th).

Derek Grant (rib) is currently on the IR(retroactive to November 3rd).

New York Outlook 

The Rangers are coming off a 5-3 win against the Kings last night despite getting behind early 2-0. New York was able to score three times in the second period to take the lead. LA came back to tie the game early in the third, but New York responded with a pair of goals to earn the win. The Rangers will close out their west coast road trip tonight against Anaheim. New York has gone 2-0-1 so far on their trip.

New York averages 3.05 goals per game and give up 2.70 against. They have had success on the power play operating at 23.5% efficiency. The penalty kill has been decent at 81.7% efficiency.

Mika Zibanejad leads the team with 10 goals.
